Mike Doughty making an inordinate amount of sense about piracy and the music business and the internet business.
I’ve never unerstood why a radio-type licensing system wasnt worked out a long time ago. Isnt the fight they’re having with the internet right now the same fight they had with radio a zillion years ago? Once they made peace, evryone made tons of money. The current situation isnt good for anyone.
